Ever since A Celtic Darkness was published in Ireland in July, it has been well received by readers both in Ireland and in the US. My thanks to everybody who has been part of this. To Clo Litriocht Ballingeary, County Cork for publishing the book in Ireland and making the dream a reality. To Jerome O'Leary of Carrigaline Bookstore who arranged the book launch. It meant so much to come back. Our childhoods are important. They shape us. Carrigaline shaped me. So it was wonderful to see so many friends and family turn out to support the launch. Thank you all so much.
A Celtic Darkness is now in local bookstores in Cork and Boston. It is also available on Amazon.com, Localbooks.ie and WHSmith.co.uk. It has been featured at Irish cultural events and literary festivals throughout New England and as far west as Chicago. The next launch will be electronic - a Kindle edition should be available in time for Christmas on Amazon.com.
Thanks to all of you who took the time to read and enjoy the book. Many of you have told me, in person and via emails, that you enjoyed it. This is really what it's all about: if I've left you thinking, "That is a good story," then I've done my job. So I'll stick at it a bit longer. A vampire novel set in Kinsale is in the works . Who knows, I might even scare of few of you.

From the upstairs window of my South Boston home, I see the sun setting. The sky is a canvas of late October red and pink. Russet leaves shiver in the chill autumn air. Halloween. Time to update Celtic Darkness. Time to thank all of you who have taken the time out of your lives to read my work and thank folks who have signed up as fans of Celtic Darkness on Facebook. Time also to thank those who have helped with the production of this site. Inside, I have a few treats prepared for you. A sample from last year's harvest. I hope you can take the time to enjoy them. I hope they take you somewhere else for a little while, somewhere beyond the “reality” of your daily lives and into the Celtic Darkness. If you like what you read, tell your friends, if you don't, tell me. I am always ready to listen.
Happy Halloween to you all and ofcourse, Bon Voyage.
